Details ~ The Nashua River Watershed Association and the Nashua Regional Planning Commission are co-sponsoring a workshop on the New Hampshire Comprehensive Shoreland Protection Act. The NH legislature enacted significant amendments to the Comprehensive Shoreland Protection Act (CSPA) that became effective July 1, 2008. This presentation will provide an overview of these changes and information on the new shoreland impact permitting process, impervious surface limitations, standards that apply in the new waterfront buffer, and the grid and point system used for managing trees and saplings. Emphasis will be added to highlighting the many activities that do not require a shoreland impact permit. This workshop will be especially useful for members of Conservation Commissions and Planning Boards, though all interested persons are encouraged to attend.
